Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year receptionist, secretary, administrative assistant or office management experience preferred
  • obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
  • obtain valid driver’s license within 90 days of hire
  • ability to lift 50lbs
  • ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • willingness to work Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm
  • ability to handle long periods of sedentary activity
  • familiarity with multi-line phone systems
  • professional appearance
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • self-motivated and able to prioritize work.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Responsible for opening and closing the main office building lobby and keeping lobby area clean
  • provide timely, proactive, and professional customer service to all internal and external Sunrise customers
  • welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone
  • answer questions and refer inquiries to the appropriate person
  • monitor, process, and direct voicemails left on the main phone line
  • support the QA work group with administrative tasks and prioritize the connection of calls and messages from external partners
  • maintain employee and department directories and route calls to supported living work groups and other departments
  • manage copy room duties including completing projects, keeping the room organized, monitoring stock levels, and requesting maintenance
  • manage garage storage duties including organization and reporting issues
  • maintain office bathroom cleanliness and stock levels
  • perform break room duties including making coffee, cleaning, and monitoring supplies
  • report any issues with vehicles and building property to the SL Director
  • set up, coordinate, and conduct group activities for Community Living participants
  • research, design, and advertise events promoting skills and support for participants
  • occasionally drive to pick up items from store
  • ensure events promote health, safety, community integration, and self-reliance.
