Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • proven experience in administrative or executive assistant roles preferred
  • strong multitasking skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with standard office equipment and computer software
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma and/or general education degree (GED) equivalent
  • bilingual a plus (Spanish)

  • comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance

Job Duties

  • Greets and assists customers, visitors, vendors, etc
  • answer and direct phone calls in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
  • handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
  • purchases supplies
  • keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
  • operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including computer, a copy machine, etc
  • take inventory of supplies and restock as needed
  • receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers
  • records amount received
  • makes change and issues receipts to customers
  • approves new charge accounts and oversees collection of past due accounts
  • prepares daily bank deposit and cash report
  • computes customer bills
  • provides refunds and/or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by management
  • provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed
  • opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and prepares outgoing mail
  • maintains professional appearance and neat work area
  • keeps work area neat and clean
  • other tasks as assigned
