Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to work well with peers in a congenial work environment
- Commitment to maintaining compassion and dignity for residents
- Adherence to federal, state, and local health and regulatory standards
- Ability to follow attendance policies and employee handbook
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Availability for part-time shifts Monday-Friday 4:30 pm-8:00 pm and weekends 10:00 am-3:00 pm
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in English including reading, writing, and speaking
- Experience in customer service or a related role preferred
- Ability to work well with peers in a congenial work environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining residents' dignity and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Receive guests and visitors, having them sign in
- Assist visitors in finding resident rooms
- Answer telephone and take messages including caller's name, telephone number, time, and date of call
- Respond to requests
- Forward information to other staff members
- Announce appointments and arrivals to appropriate staff
- Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested
- Sort mail and distribute appropriately to mailboxes, residents, and departments
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident information
- Be knowledgeable about community services and rates, providing families and/or prospective residents with tours and/or community information
- Assemble and maintain admission and information packets
- Keep front desk and lobby area neat and organized
- Perform any other duties assigned by Business Office Manager or Executive Director
