Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in receptionist or administrative role preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA
- ability to maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor
- capable of multitasking and managing time efficiently
- knowledge of resident rights and community services
- ability to perform clerical duties and basic office tasks
Job Qualifications

- proficiency in operating telephone and paging systems
- ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- friendly and professional demeanor
- knowledge of HIPAA and resident rights preferred
- basic computer skills including typing, copying, and faxing
Job Duties
- ensure CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct are adhered to at all times
- ensure compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies at all times
- provide a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and all visitors to the community
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of the community services provided
- greet visitors courteously and direct them to the appropriate area or personnel and answer routine questions
- operate paging/telephone system as required and answer incoming calls warmly and professionally
- take detailed messages and ensure messages are relayed promptly
- ensure that the reception areas are clean, neat, and inviting
- prepare outgoing community mail for pickup and sort and distribute incoming mail
- maintain current listing of residents and staff
- report equipment malfunctions promptly and maintain a maintenance required book
- organize information packets for job applicants and new staff
- perform clerical functions related to resident admissions, discharges, and readmissions
- perform typing, copying, and faxing for all departments as requested
- attend designated staff meetings
- perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
