Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one-year receptionist, secretary, or administrative assistant experience preferably working with public
  • obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
  • obtain valid driver's license within 90 days of hire
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • experience or ability to use modern office equipment including phone and copy machines
  • proficient in Microsoft 365 applications

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • open and close the main office building lobby and keep lobby area clean
  • provide timely, proactive, and professional customer service to all internal and external Sunrise customers
  • greet visitors in person or on the telephone, answer questions and refer inquiries to the appropriate person
  • monitor, process, and direct voicemails left on the main phone line
  • support the QA work group with administrative tasks and prioritize connection of calls and messages from external partners
  • maintain employee and department directories and route calls as needed
  • manage copy room duties including completing projects, organizing, monitoring stock levels, and requesting maintenance
  • oversee garage storage keeping area organized and reporting issues
  • keep office bathrooms neat, restock supplies, and maintain break room cleanliness including coffee preparation and refrigerator cleaning
  • report vehicle and building/property issues to SL Director
  • set up, coordinate, and conduct group activities for Community Living participants
  • research and design events, obtain necessary supplies, schedule rooms, and create advertising materials
  • perform minimal driving to pick up items from store
  • ensure events promote health, safety, power and choice, social integration, relationships development, and competence building for participants
