Job Duties

  • Manages the telephone and switchboard
  • Operates paging and telephone system as required
  • Answers calls timely and courteously
  • Directs calls promptly and accurately
  • Assists visitors upon arrival to the facility
  • Greets visitors courteously
  • Ensures all visitors and vendors sign in
  • Demonstrates customer service skills via phone and in person
  • Maintains neat and orderly work area
  • Performs clerical duties such as mail handling, filing, and preparing informational packets
  • Assists with administrative tasks including filing, posting accounts, and data entry
  • Orders supplies as directed
  • Attends in-service education programs
  • Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information
  • Protects residents from neglect and abuse
  • Protects personal property of residents
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervisor or administrator
