Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited high school or have GED
  • ability to clearly and professionally communicate both verbally and in writing
  • ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • ability to operate a multi-line phone system
  • ability to monitor several cameras and doors for access/entry to the building
  • familiar with general office equipment and postal meter, basic computing
  • ability to remain patient and calm in stressful situations and during peak operational times

Job Duties

  • Perform several tasks concurrently with ease, such as answering the phone, opening the door and directing visitors
  • interacting with visitors, families and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
  • operate a multi-line telephone system, transferring calls
  • operate general office equipment including computer, printer and postal meter
  • screen security system for proper entrance and exit of visitors
  • collect and sort mail for departmental pick-ups and notify departments timely of mail/package deliveries
  • ensure mail receives postage in a timely manner for pick up by mail carrier
  • take and distribute messages, clearly and timely
