Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or front desk role preferred
- ability to perform work tasks within physical demand requirements
- compliance with residents' rights and facility policies
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- capability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to attend educational programs and trainings
- patience and genuine interest in working with elderly and disabled individuals

Job Duties
- Manages the telephone and switchboard
- operates paging/telephone system as required
- answers calls timely and courteously
- directs calls promptly and accurately
- assists visitors upon arrival to the facility
- greets visitors courteously
- gives directions or contacts the person visitors have come to see
- ensures all visitors/vendors sign in
- demonstrates customer service skills in every interaction
- maintains a neat and orderly work area
- performs other clerical duties as assigned
- assists with mail handling and filing
- prepares informational packets and brochures
- assists with administrative duties including filing, posting accounts, data entry
- orders supplies as directed
- attends in-service education programs
- maintains confidentiality of resident and facility records
- follows safety and emergency procedures
- protects residents from neglect, abuse, and mistreatment
- protects residents' personal property
