Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • minimum of 2 years' experience in a related position or field
  • strong customer services skills
  • demonstrated problem solving ability
  • demonstrated ability to work well with diverse groups of people
  • demonstrated sensitivity to people experiencing crisis
  • ability to work well with other professional groups and community agencies
  • strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office and with data entry

Job Duties

  • Advocates for the mission of the organization and promotes and upholds the agency's values
  • greets donors and other visitors with a customer service focus and directs them to the appropriate department
  • answers calls on the main Crossroads telephone line
  • provides basic information regarding services available from Crossroads and other community agencies to callers and walk-ins
  • research information and make referrals to other community agencies
  • timely completion of all related documentation and paperwork
  • input client and program data into online database
  • provide coverage for Front Desk daily
  • monitors and places orders for office supplies in Adult Services
  • complete other administrative tasks as needed
  • other duties as assigned
