Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • support the Perfect Patient Experience process by assisting patients in arriving and ensuring comfort during visits
  • schedule appointments to facilitate smooth, productive healthcare provider days
  • interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during wait times
  • answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
  • complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
  • post payments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies
  • act as a subject matter expert in practice management systems regarding patient registration and e-check-in processes
  • efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of arrivals with pertinent information
  • confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance per office policy
  • ensure patient messages from the Contact Center are returned and resolved timely
  • actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • understand business imperatives and directly impact metrics through role responsibilities
  • demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand consistent with brand framework
  • support clinician patient education on the Mouth-Body Connection
  • maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
  • perform other duties as assigned
