Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Apps
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, external agencies, and vendors

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in clerical related field preferred
  • Knowledge of general office procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders

Job Duties

  • Performs general office duties to support school or office activities including receiving telephone calls and greeting visitors
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assists other staff with administrative tasks
  • Responds to requests for information
  • Maintains and updates records
  • Prepares documents
  • Administers medication to students according to policies
  • Maintains organized health room and provides first aid
  • Notifies employees of visitors and mail
  • Assists administrators with typing and word processing tasks
  • Maintains routine office files and student records
  • Supervises and responds to student needs
  • Contacts parents and guardians as needed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
