Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and analyze information
- Effective communication skills in English
- 2 years previous clinic experience preferred
- Proficient in basic computer and administrative tasks
- Ability to multitask and handle patient interactions professionally
- Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and analyze information
- Effective communication skills in English
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding preferred
- Previous clinic or medical office experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Greet patients and prepare necessary forms for office visits
- Enter patient information into electronic medical records and update insurance data
- Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and patient out-of-pocket payments
- Process medical visits using CPT and ICD coding and handle payments
- Answer, screen, and route telephone calls and take messages
- Maintain medical charts by scanning, copying, and organizing documents
- Order and manage office supplies and filing materials according to procedures
