Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and analyze information
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • 2 years previous clinic experience preferred
  • Proficient in basic computer and administrative tasks
  • Ability to multitask and handle patient interactions professionally
  • Availability to work full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and analyze information
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding preferred
  • Previous clinic or medical office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Greet patients and prepare necessary forms for office visits
  • Enter patient information into electronic medical records and update insurance data
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and patient out-of-pocket payments
  • Process medical visits using CPT and ICD coding and handle payments
  • Answer, screen, and route telephone calls and take messages
  • Maintain medical charts by scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Order and manage office supplies and filing materials according to procedures
