Job Duties

  • Operate paging/telephone system as required
  • answer telephone
  • determine nature of call and direct caller to appropriate individual or department
  • receive inquiries and release information per policies
  • deal with Patient Trust Fund as directed
  • greet visitors and direct them appropriately
  • give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives
  • assist with administrative duties including typing, filing, posting accounts
  • receive, sort, and distribute mail
  • operate copier and office machines
  • operate computer as directed
  • order supplies as directed
  • assist department directors with administrative matters
  • attend in-service education programs
  • be familiar with and use standard precautions and safety procedures
  • maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records
  • protect residents from neglect and abuse
  • protect residents' personal property
  • perform other duties as directed
