Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist or related position in a call-center or administrative environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors
  • Knowledge of privacy and security procedures
  • Capability to coordinate safety drills and respond promptly to emergencies
  • Proficiency in handling phone calls and emails professionally
  • Ability to maintain organized work areas and records

Job Duties

  • Provides exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by assisting with inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner
  • Acts as a friendly and welcoming presence within the community, greeting residents and visitors and assisting them as needed
  • Communicates effectively with residents and staff to ensure their needs and preferences are understood and addressed promptly
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive community atmosphere by prompting social interactions and engagement among residents
  • Answers phone calls or emails professionally and in a timely manner
  • Provides information about guests, their visitation, the community, and safety precautions during their visit while complying with all HIPAA and privacy requirements
  • Ensures visitor logs, ID badges, and any security measures are followed by everyone in the community as required
  • Keeps supplies, work areas, papers, and electronic files neat and orderly
  • Tracks and orders supplies as needed to ensure sufficient inventory
  • Coordinates life safety and disaster preparedness drills for their designated area
  • Promptly reports emergencies, safety, or security to leadership
  • Assists with special projects and performs other duties as assigned
