Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- ability to operate computer systems, copier, postage meter, fax machine, and telephone system
- comfortable learning new computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and email
- ability to communicate tactfully with residents, staff, and visitors
- emotional stability and ability to handle stressful situations
- ability to follow written and oral instructions
- well-groomed and professional appearance
- ability to work harmoniously with others
- knowledge of HIPAA and resident rights policies
Job Duties
- Ensures adherence to CAPLICO Core Values and Code of Conduct
- ensures compliance with Resident Rights and HIPAA policies
- provides a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- maintains up-to-date knowledge of community services
- greets visitors and directs them appropriately
- operates paging and telephone systems
- answers incoming calls in a professional manner
- takes and relays detailed messages
- maintains clean and inviting reception areas
- prepares outgoing mail and distributes incoming mail
- maintains current listings of residents and staff
- reports equipment malfunctions
- maintains maintenance request logs
- organizes information packets for new staff
- performs clerical functions related to resident admissions and discharges
- attends staff meetings
- performs additional duties as assigned
