Job Requirements
- high school diploma
- minimum of six months relevant work or customer service experience
- valid state driver’s license
- successfully pass and maintain security clearance such as SIDA, TWIC, or CJIS
- ability to learn and apply administrative procedures and office operations
- capacity to perform basic math functions
- forklift certification will be provided on the job
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma
- minimum of six months of relevant work experience or demonstrated customer service experience
- ability to maintain valid state driver’s license
- ability to pass and maintain security clearances such as SIDA, TWIC, CJIS
- knowledge of US postal and UPS packaging regulations and software
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer programs
- strong customer service and communication skills
- attention to detail with ability to perform high volume of work accurately
- basic math skills
- experience in forklift operation
- knowledge of printer and copier fleet operations
Job Duties
- greet guests at the 8th floor and direct them to the appropriate meeting organizer
- handle phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries
- validate parking for guests and staff, and maintain a clean and organized lobby area
- administer Port of Portland Headquarters and visitor badges and manage conference room calendars
- support bid and proposal management processes as needed
- pick up, sort, and deliver internal and external correspondence
- perform basic maintenance of multifunction copy machines and assist with p-card contract administration
- coordinate with records managers and manage surplus sales of airport lost-and-found items and other Port assets
