Job Requirements
- 1-2 years working with an EMR system, Medent preferred
- 1-2 years working as a receptionist in the medical field
- Familiar with medical terminology and handling of medical documents
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective in multi-tasking and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral

Job Duties
- Greeting patients immediately upon arrival and verifying their name and DOB in the EMR Medent
- Updating the patient's demographic information, pharmacy, and insurance information in the EMR Medent
- Explaining all signage of the consents and Hipaa privacy and emergency contact information
- Collecting copays
- Answering patient questions and sending messages within the patient's chart to the correct point of contact
- Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
- Reviewing, labeling, and scanning various documents
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized environment
- Completing other assigned tasks as needed
