Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience performing 10 key and typing on a keyboard with manual dexterity
- Ability to perform basic math and compute weights and measures
- Consistently provide friendly courteous service to customers
- Work varied hours primarily between 4:00 am and 2:00 pm including nights weekends and holidays
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and outside vendors
- Exhibit integrity in dealings with vendors and product
- Stand walk move rapidly bend stoop and reach for extended periods
- Conduct visual inspections and read product labels and reports
- Perform manual dexterity tasks including paperwork processing
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Operate forklift and pallet jack
- Push and pull racks and pallet jack
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food handlers certification as per state laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience performing 10 key operations and typing with manual dexterity
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Ability to compute weights and measures
- Strong communication skills including hearing and speech
- Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity such as processing paperwork and filing
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Food handlers certification as per state laws
Job Duties
- Scan and verify inventory counts for incoming and outgoing products
- Provide friendly and courteous service to internal and external customers
- Maintain strong professional relationships with Direct Store Delivery vendors
- Verify cost and quantities of delivered products
- Update database with price changes and communicate with Pricing Clerk and General Offices
- Maintain and file Direct Store Deliveries by inputting data and attaching invoices
- Transmit payment data to General Office
- Write and send orders based on past experience
- Deliver invoices to appropriate departments
- Operate forklift and unload deliveries
- Move product with a pallet jack
- Maintain clean work area by sweeping and organizing
- Perform checks as needed
- Schedule delivery times for direct trucks
- Perform other duties as assigned
