Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in hot and cold indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and security protocols
  • Previous experience in a receiving or porter role preferred
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment considered an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures and standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Job Duties

  • Receive supplies and check them into the storeroom upon delivery
  • Inspect packaged goods for condition and ensure quality specifications are met before accepting deliveries
  • Store purchased goods properly and transfer supplies between storage and work areas
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized, clean, and well-kept walk-in, freezer, and storeroom areas
  • Track food inventory and rotate stock appropriately
  • Transport foods, beverages, supplies, and other items to their designated areas
  • Manage inventory of propane tanks
  • Direct traffic at the loading dock to prevent hazards and blockages
  • Ensure all storage areas are secured according to Club policies
  • Maintain receiving and storeroom equipment in proper working condition
  • Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage cans, wash and re-line with new bags, break down boxes and crates, and remove debris
  • Clean receiving, trash, and other kitchen-related areas, including sweeping and mopping kitchen floors
  • Store dishes and other wares in appropriate locations
  • Participate in departmental and Club training meetings
  • Report all accidents, illnesses, or near-miss incidents immediately to the manager on duty or supervisor
  • Complete additional assignments from the Facilities Manager or Chefs
