Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months experience in related recreational activities
- Ability to learn and apply MCCS policies and procedures
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Basic mathematics knowledge
- Physical ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle money
- Commitment to workplace safety and EEO principles
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in the assigned recreational activity is desired
- Skill to learn MCCS policies, rules and regulations involving the area
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and over 45lbs with assistance
Job Duties
- Provide oversight of recreational activities including military, community center, youth, outdoor recreation, craft and hobby shops, athletics, fitness and sports programs, music and theater
- Offer general information on equipment use and facilities operation
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and organizational policies
- Monitor and check security of premises
- Perform clerical, custodial, and general maintenance duties as required
- Operate cash register, handle payments, and manage inventory for bar services
- Deliver World Class Customer Service emphasizing courtesy, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction
