- Reviewing and resolving title issues
- Securing signed title examination or commitment
- Ordering releases or transfers
- Checking legal descriptions and seller information
- Verifying sales price and fees on settlement documents
- Confirming loan check validity
- Resolving curative issues
- Ensuring correct disbursement of funds
- Performing processing assistant duties as needed
- Covering roles in other departments when shorthanded
