Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with clean FMCSA Clearinghouse record
- Drivers Abstract required
- Ability to navigate Bellingham and surrounding areas to maintain on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as required
- Comfortable working at heights when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Report incidents or vehicle malfunctions promptly
- Adhere to safety regulations and company protocols
- Successful use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment including respirators
- Pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing, and criminal record check may be required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with a clean FMCSA Clearinghouse record
- Drivers Abstract required
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, vehicle regulations, and safe driving practices
- Ability to operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently
- Relevant industry training or certification in commercial driving preferred
- Previous experience as a ready-mix truck driver is a plus
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, or related fields preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites
- Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers, ensuring consistent and reliable service
- Provide a positive and hassle-free delivery experience for customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including time logs, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other personnel to optimize delivery schedules
- Demonstrate flexibility by working different shifts and Saturdays as needed
- Adhere to all safety policies and promote a culture of safety
