Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
- ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
- ability to pass physical examination and comply with random drug testing
- ability to bend to ground level and reach upper levels using a ladder
- stamina to stand and walk for most of the work shift
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- clear English speaking and writing skills
- reliable driving skills
- ability to follow maps and directions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
- ability to perform simple math such as addition and subtraction
- clear English speaking, writing, and attentive listening skills
- proficiency in driving, using maps and directions
- ability to use technology including tablets and IoT devices
- experience working safely in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Delivering ready-mix concrete and associated products in a safe and efficient manner to construction sites after loading at plant locations
- performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
- checking vehicle fluid levels daily and adding fluids as necessary
- keeping the vehicle clean including the cab, drum, and exterior using proper wash down procedures
- effectively using computer tablets and IoT devices
- engaging professionally with customers on site
- maintaining compliance with safety and company policies
