Job Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
  • ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
  • ability to pass physical examination and comply with random drug testing
  • ability to bend to ground level and reach upper levels using a ladder
  • stamina to stand and walk for most of the work shift
  • ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • clear English speaking and writing skills
  • reliable driving skills
  • ability to follow maps and directions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid California Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement
  • ability to perform simple math such as addition and subtraction
  • clear English speaking, writing, and attentive listening skills
  • proficiency in driving, using maps and directions
  • ability to use technology including tablets and IoT devices
  • experience working safely in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Delivering ready-mix concrete and associated products in a safe and efficient manner to construction sites after loading at plant locations
  • performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections
  • checking vehicle fluid levels daily and adding fluids as necessary
  • keeping the vehicle clean including the cab, drum, and exterior using proper wash down procedures
  • effectively using computer tablets and IoT devices
  • engaging professionally with customers on site
  • maintaining compliance with safety and company policies
