Job Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- hold a valid DOT medical card
- commitment to safe work practices and PPE usage (company provided)
- willing to work up to 6 days a week with overtime as needed
- flexible to work nights, weekends, and travel for assignments
- meet company, state, and federal driving standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years' experience driving trucks of similar size and equipment preferred
- valid CDL A or B license required
- strong math, recordkeeping, and basic reading skills
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
- experience in securing and transporting heavy or oversized loads
- professional, courteous, and effective communication skills
- ability to train and mentor others if experienced
Job Duties
- Safely operate ready mix trucks to deliver concrete to job sites and company locations
- conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections by DOT standards
- load and unload equipment and materials as needed
- maintain accurate mileage logs and delivery records
- follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws
- perform minor truck maintenance and keep your vehicle clean and orderly
- support your team and supervisors with additional duties as required
