Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must meet insurability for driving requirements of the company
- Must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements and carry a current physical exam card
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule during busy season
- Must be able to work late or irregular hours
Job Qualifications

- Previous knowledge of construction and construction products is helpful
- Must understand and maintain internal and external customer service responsibilities
- Must meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical requirements and carry a current physical exam card
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule during busy season
- Must be able to work late or irregular hours
Job Duties
- Abide by company safety program and policies, while performing duties safely
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety check on equipment and the truck to assure a safe vehicle
- Document and report any maintenance that may be required
- Backs truck under loading hopper, starts mixer to receive concrete
- Follows guidelines and instructions by dispatch personnel
- Drive the truck to designated job sites for unloading
- Must be able to distinguish between safe and unsafe conditions at the job site, in traffic and throughout plant areas
- Assemble the concrete chute and attach chute to the back of the truck
- Control the appropriate levers on the truck to discharge concrete according to specifications
- Wash out truck and after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck
- Perform minor maintenance to the assigned vehicle--tire pressure, oil change, lube job--as needed
