Job Requirements
- Climbing in and out of a truck 20/30 times per day
- Climbing a ladder on the back of truck 10/20 times per day
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Driving a vehicle
- Walking, sitting, standing for extended periods of time
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and write
- Commercial driver license with minimum of a "B" endorsement with air brakes
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions
- Good driving record
- Ability to read a map and follow directions
Job Duties
- Positioning truck under batch plant to be loaded
- Standing on catwalks and filling water tank
- Checking slump of load
- Picking up printed delivery ticket
- Delivering load to job site
- Working with customers to obtain vehicle access to job site
- Unloading materials
- Lifting, carrying and attaching chutes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Communicating with dispatcher using two-way radio system
- Making judgments about the accessibility of off road terrain
- Rinsing chutes and truck to remove spilled concrete
- Performing pre-trip vehicle safety inspections
- Maintaining a clean vehicle
- Reporting any maintenance requirements
- Maintaining required record keeping
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Performing routine housekeeping between driving assignments
