Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- must be able to lift up to 30 lbs or push heavy loads using rolling stock
- must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
- other duties assigned by management as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- must be able to work in hot and/or cold environment
- must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire work shift
- must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
- possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- must be able to apply safety standards
- must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
Job Duties
- Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment on to the truck
- driving the truck to the A/C
- loading galleys according to customer guidelines
- offloading dirty equipment
- placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area
- adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
- interpret and comprehend menu and flight galley specifications
- follows all ramp safety and AOA safety and security rules and regulations
- other assigned work as needed
