Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of safe food handling
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- stamina for standing and physical kitchen work
- good manual dexterity
- reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- roll sushi and shuck oysters
- prepare sushi features and garnishes
- inspect, clean, and maintain food preparation and serving areas
- regulate cooking equipment temperatures
- check freshness and rotate stock
- adhere to portion sizes and cooking standards
- season, cook, bake, roast, broil, and steam foods
- measure, mix, portion, and arrange ingredients
- ensure proper plate presentation
- wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables
- carve and trim meats
- assist and substitute for other cooks
- close kitchen following checklist
- attend meetings and collaborate with team
- fill in for employees to ensure service
