Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED with good grades in science and math classes
- education or experience working in related scientific field such as food science, biology, biochemistry, health and wellness, botany, chemistry
- intermediate to advanced computer skills including Gmail, Google Drive, Excel, data entry
- US citizenship or legally able to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Assist the product development team in maintaining the laboratory
- help to maintain the physical laboratory ingredients as well as the online database
- ensure available ingredients are within expiration and restock expiring ingredients
- replenish lab supplies as needed
- help to maintain a clean lab
- assist the product development team in creation, taste testing and analyzing materials
- prepare lab samples
- conduct and document taste testing projects for both new products and material equivalency projects
- record work in a laboratory notebook
- assist in the product development team in research and information gathering
- assist formulators with ingredient research
- gather documents for R&D scientists
- conduct ingredient literature searches and generate scientific reports
- research market and ingredient product trends using company resources and keep a full record
- present research to small groups as assigned
