Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Over one year of experience as a baker preferred but not required
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Previous retail experience is an added advantage
  • Ability to bake various goods following recipes
  • Precision in measuring ingredients and ensuring quality
  • Efficiently manage time to complete baking tasks
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work with diverse personalities
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Job Duties

  • Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
  • Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure consistency in product quality
  • Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofing chambers
  • Shape, mold, and decorate dough to create breads, pastries, and desserts
  • Monitor the baking process to ensure products meet desired standards
  • Coordinate with bakery lead to determine baking priorities and production schedules
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Follow strict sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
