Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Good vision and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over one year of experience as a baker preferred but not required
- On-the-job training provided
- Previous retail experience is an added advantage
- Ability to bake various goods following recipes
- Precision in measuring ingredients and ensuring quality
- Efficiently manage time to complete baking tasks
- Ability to adapt to changes and work with diverse personalities
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Job Duties
- Prepare doughs, batters, and fillings according to established recipes and techniques
- Weigh and measure ingredients precisely to ensure consistency in product quality
- Operate and maintain baking equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofing chambers
- Shape, mold, and decorate dough to create breads, pastries, and desserts
- Monitor the baking process to ensure products meet desired standards
- Coordinate with bakery lead to determine baking priorities and production schedules
- Assist in inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels
- Follow strict sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
