Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more)
- valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) if required
- strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews
- ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain
- flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights
- basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment
- ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
- attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols
- previous experience in aviation or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory
- fluently read, write, and speak the English language
- this job is covered by a collective bargaining agreement of the Transport Workers Union (TWU), a labor union which requires joining the TWU and paying union dues

Job Duties
- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
- load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft
- safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts to pick-up and deliver cargo/bags between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft
- sort and load baggage
- perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service
- perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions
- maintain a secure work environment
