Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo (up to 50 lbs or more)
- Valid driver's license, must be maintained throughout employment in this role
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and flight crews
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and nights
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating ground support equipment
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols
- Fluently read, write, and speak the English language
Job Qualifications

- Ability to fluently read, write, and speak the English language
- Previous experience in aviation or ground handling operations preferred
- Familiarity with aircraft types and airport layout preferred
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in the airport environment preferred
- Experience operating ground support equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and forklifts preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure preferred
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Basic computer skills for completing paperwork and using scheduling systems preferred
- Strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude toward passenger interactions preferred
Job Duties
- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
- Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft
- Safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts to pick up and deliver cargo/bags between the terminal, warehouse and aircraft
- Sort and load baggage
- Perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service
- Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions
- Maintain a secure work environment
