Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language
- Flexible to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Good communication and language skills
- Ability to fluently speak and understand English
- Ability to operate ground support equipment
- Knowledge of airport safety procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic physical fitness to handle airport duties
Job Duties
- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
- Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft
- Safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts
- Sort and load baggage
- Perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and water service
- Perform aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guide man functions
- Maintain a secure work environment
