Job Requirements
- at least 18 years old
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies
- able to stand, walk, and handle baggage for an eight-hour shift
- able to read, write and speak English fluently
- ability to communicate with other departments and flight crews
- valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record
- eligible to acquire and maintain credentials vital for the position
- pass background check
- pass pre-placement physical ability test, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen
- available during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- willing to work mandatory overtime as needed
- able to perform various physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 70lbs
- ability to obtain required training certifications, perform safety checks, operate and drive equipment, load and unload baggage and cargo, interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
- work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
- legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship
- exposed to high noise levels
- must not have lived outside the US in the past 3 years for more than six months except military or approved exceptions
- successful interview and assessment completion
- reliable and punctual attendance
- able to meet uniform and appearance standards
- willing and able to work 100% on-site

Job Duties
- process baggage, boxes, and cargo between baggage and cargo areas in airport facilities and aircraft
- receive and dispatch aircraft
- maintain high-quality standards of operational safety and customer service
- communicate effectively with other departments and flight crews
- operate and drive equipment for loading and unloading
- interpret load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
- perform safety checks on equipment and surroundings
