Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must have valid driver’s license
  • treat all information as confidential
  • able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • must be able to lift, stoop, squat, push, stand, and bend throughout the shift
  • able to do repeated heavy lifting up to 70 lbs for extended periods regularly
  • willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, ice, and snow
  • pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • pass criminal background check
  • willing and able to cope with non-routine situations such as flight delays and passenger accommodations
  • must be a US citizen or possess necessary INS authorization
  • must have clear driving record

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • computer experience preferred
  • previous customer service experience preferred
  • ability to communicate in English clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • familiarity with FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • good radio and telephone communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously
  • detail-oriented with minimal supervision
  • tactful in dealing with clients, employees, and the public

Job Duties

  • handling and care of passenger baggage
  • loading, unloading, transportation to and from various airport locations
  • handling and care of mail, freight, and express parcels
  • operation of aircraft servicing equipment including electrical, engine start, lavatories, water service, and deicing
  • providing safe guidance of aircraft to and from parked areas, taxiways, and gates
  • pushing or towing aircraft to designated airport locations
  • assisting disabled passengers in and out of aircraft
  • thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors according to company and client specifications
  • pulling computer work assignments and provisioning aircraft as directed
  • completing reports accurately and timely
  • adhering to FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • maintaining cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs
  • projecting a positive image and responding courteously to clients, staff, and the public
  • attending required meetings and in-services
  • maintaining records, reports, and files
  • adhering to uniform and safety gear requirements
  • following company policies and participating in achieving objectives
  • utilizing company resources conscientiously
  • performing other duties as requested
