Job Requirements
- Must possess computer experience of six months or more
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently
- must have previous ramp or airline experience
- must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications
- must clear FBI fingerprint background check
- must be physically fit to perform job duties including standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
- must be willing to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays and extended hours during non-routine operations
- must be capable of processing information in a timely manner
- must have basic computer literacy
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- previous ramp or airline experience
- basic computer literacy
- knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
- knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance
- understanding of commercial issues in aviation
- valid driver’s license
- proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing
- successful completion of all training requirements and maintenance of certifications
- ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays
- physical fitness to perform job duties
- capability to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Job Duties
- Report to work on a regular and timely basis
- ensure Ramp Agents are in personal protective equipment and ready to perform duties
- provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
- report operational feedback for flight delays and performance to leadership
- address security related issues to leadership and conduct meetings
- perform under pressure within fixed time constraints
- ensure Ramp Agents adhere to uniform standards
- lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo to and from aircrafts, bag carts, and conveyor belts
- drive and operate ground support equipment
- prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
- ensure necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
- follow company and federal safety regulations and procedures
- perform other duties as required
