Job Requirements

  • Must possess computer experience of 6 or more months and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, timeclock
  • working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues
  • experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • must have a high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • capable of processing information in a timely manner
  • must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • basic computer literacy
  • previous ramp or airline experience
  • must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
  • must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
  • must be physically fit to perform duties, including standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • capable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
  • willing to work outside in all types of weather with exposure to loud noises
  • must be able and flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous ramp or airline experience
  • able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • basic computer literacy
  • knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications

Job Duties

  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • ensure Ramp Agents are in Personal Protective Equipment and ready to perform duties
  • provide input on operational improvements and efficiencies
  • report operational feedback for flight delays and performance to leadership
  • address security related issues to leadership and conduct meetings
  • perform duties under pressure and within fixed time constraints
  • ensure Ramp Agents adhere to uniform standards
  • lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags and cargo to/from aircraft, bag carts, and conveyor belts
  • drive and operate ground support equipment
  • prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, galleys, and lavatories
  • ensure necessary ground equipment is available in ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
  • follow company and federal safety regulations and procedures
  • perform other duties as required
