Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, territory or the District of Columbia
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
  • Ability to learn and operate a computerized reservation system
  • Typing speed of at least 25 WPM
  • Basic mathematics proficiency
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance
  • Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification depending on work location

Job Duties

  • Assist guests with travel needs such as answering inquiries, baggage handling, ticketing, checking-in passengers, and boarding flights
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions performing below wing functions like transporting baggage and cargo, loading and offloading luggage and cargo, aircraft marshaling, pushback, and deicing
  • Perform aircraft grooming and conduct security searches
  • Manage boarding and gate duties including assisting and directing guests, making announcements, and processing standby and upgrade requests
  • Process and secure guest luggage, maintain luggage claims for damaged, delayed, or pilfered items
  • Operate conveyor belts for loading and offloading luggage and cargo
  • Perform various duties as assigned by management to ensure complete guest satisfaction
