Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to complete basic and recurrent training and testing
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance or equipment
- Ability to operate ground support equipment
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally in a noisy operations environment
- Willingness to work in a FAA safety-sensitive position subject to regulatory alcohol and drug testing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to operate ground support equipment
- Knowledge of FAMIS or FedEx computer systems
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with safety officials
Job Duties
- Coordinate all station ground operations relating to the operational interface between aircraft loading and unloading activities
- Complete basic and recurrent training and testing
- Properly identify and prioritize loading and unloading procedures
- Lift and maneuver packages weighing 50 lbs or more with appropriate equipment or assistance
- Operate ground support equipment (GSE)
- Use FAMIS and FedEx computer systems for operations
- Communicate verbally and effectively in a noisy and time-sensitive environment
