Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- no prior experience required
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to maneuver packages over 50 pounds with assistance or equipment
- ability to operate ground support equipment
- meet medical qualifications under FAA regulations
- pass regulatory alcohol and drug testing including multiple substances
- ability to work alertly and safely in a noisy environment
- effective verbal communication skills in English
- meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation qualifications
Job Qualifications

- good human relations and verbal communication skills
- ability to operate ground support equipment
- knowledge of FedEx computer systems including FAMIS and timekeeping tools
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- ability to complete basic and recurrent training and testing
- knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
Job Duties
- Coordinate all operations relating to the interface between trunk aircraft loading and unloading activities
- perform courier duties when assigned
- perform tractor-trailer driving duties when required
- operate ground support equipment effectively
- prioritize loading and unloading procedures
- communicate effectively in a noisy, time-sensitive environment
- complete basic and recurrent training and testing
