Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to successfully communicate with others
  • Ability to work in high-noise level environments
  • Ability to pull, push, and lift bags weighing up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently

Job Duties

  • Load and unload cargo including mail, express, freight, and company materials on and off aircraft
  • Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Assist with pushback, towing, and guiding aircraft using appropriate ground-to-cockpit communication
  • De-ice aircraft at heights up to 80 feet using glycol solutions
  • Operate vehicles weighing from 3,000 to 80,000 lbs safely in congested airport areas
  • Read and interpret off-load sheets to determine cargo destinations
  • Perform exterior cleaning of aircraft and routine cleaning of work areas
  • Monitor facility security and report any breaches or suspicious activities
