Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks
  • Willingness to work varying shifts including early mornings and overnight
  • Compliance with internal mobility and residency policies if an internal candidate
  • Ability to meet performance standards and tenure requirements in current role
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to operational procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50-70 pounds
  • Experience in operating ground equipment preferred
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Basic computer literacy for operating scanners and related systems

Job Duties

  • Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft
  • Guide incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions ensuring timely connections
  • Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather
  • Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas
  • Operate baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to customers' destinations
