Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable telephone and transportation
  • Ability to perform repeated heavy lifting up to 70 pounds
  • Capacity to sit, stand, lift, and bend throughout shift
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
  • U.S. citizenship or valid immigration authorization
  • Ability to cope with non-routine situations such as flight delays and passenger accommodations
  • Must treat all information as confidential
  • Strong communication skills and tactfulness
  • Must wear proper uniform and PPE as directed
  • Adherence to company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in customer service
  • Computer proficiency preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to operate motorized equipment and handle physical labor
  • Familiarity with FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • Experience in a safety-oriented work environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Handling and care of passenger baggage
  • Loading, unloading, and transportation of baggage within airport premises
  • Managing U.S. mail, freight, and express parcels with care and efficiency
  • Operating aircraft servicing equipment including electrical power, engine start, lavatories, water service, and deicing where applicable
  • Guiding aircraft safely to and from parking, taxiways, and gates using visual, verbal, and electronic signals
  • Pushing or towing aircraft to designated locations on the airport
  • Assisting disabled passengers in boarding and deplaning
  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors according to company and client specifications
  • Pulling and completing computer work assignments and accurately submitting reports in a timely manner
  • Maintaining adherence to FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • Communicating effectively to keep supervisors informed of operational needs and problems
  • Upholding safety protocols including proper equipment use, injury reporting, and PPE requirements
  • Wearing appropriate uniforms and identification as per company standards
  • Performing additional duties as assigned
  • Attending meetings and safety training sessions as required
