Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- valid driver's license
- must be able to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- able to sit, stand, lift, and bend throughout shift
- willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions
- must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- must pass a criminal background check
- must be willing to work non-routine hours including early and late flights
- able to read, write, understand and verbally communicate in English
- must be citizen of the United States or have required authorization
- must have clear driving record
- treat all information as confidential
- possess tact and professionalism in dealing with clients and public
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- computer experience preferred
- previous customer service experience preferred
- must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver's license
- reliable telephone and transportation
- ability to do repeated heavy lifting up to 70 lbs for extended periods
- able to work in extreme weather conditions
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- able to cope with non-routine situations including flight delays
- knowledge of FAA, airline and airport regulations
- must have clear driving record
- ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- handling and care of passenger baggage
- loading, unloading, transportation to and from various airport locations
- handling and care of U.S. mail, freight, express parcels
- performing all ground handling tasks according to customer and G2 specifications
- prioritizing safety of personnel, passengers, equipment and aircraft
- operating various aircraft servicing equipment including electrical, engine start, lavatories, water service, and deicing
- providing safe guidance of aircraft to and from parked areas, taxiways and gates using visual, hand, verbal and electronic communication
- pushing or towing aircraft to designated locations
- assisting disabled passengers in and out of aircraft
- thoroughly cleaning aircraft interiors in accordance with company and client standards
- pulling and performing computer work assignments for aircraft provisioning
- accurately completing reports and documentation timely
- maintaining familiarity with FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
- communicating needs and issues with supervisors and maintaining cleanliness of work areas
- projecting positive image and responding courteously to clients, staff and public
- attending required meetings and inservice trainings
- utilizing appropriate communication channels and maintaining required records and reports
- adhering to proper uniform and protective gear policies with visible identification
- complying with company policies and contributing to company objectives
- using company and client resources responsibly and cost-effectively
- performing other duties as requested
