Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume ramen-inspired Japanese concept featuring sushi
  • certificate or degree in Culinary Arts and ServSafe preferred but not required
  • strong financial and computer skills including working knowledge of P&Ls and budgeting
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale systems
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and events
  • demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate team members

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, and mobilize kitchen and service teams
  • develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures
  • determine purchasing specifications and budgetary allotments for all menu items
  • prepare operational reports highlighting progress and adverse trends
  • ensure compliance with company and health department policies, regulations, and standards
  • manage invoice tracking, labor tracking, schedule preparation, food cost and labor cost management, and inventory control
  • oversee hiring, counseling, and termination policies
