Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- mechanical aptitude and ability to problem-solve
- ability to use hand tools such as pipe wrenches, pry bars, wrenches, and ratchets
- ability to complete basic railcar repairs and inspections
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- commitment to safety and following proper procedures
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- valid driver’s license
- ability to stoop for extended periods and move between kneeling and standing positions
- ability to wear a respirator
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
- passing company physical exam, drug screening, and background check
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- conduct railcar inspections and perform necessary repairs
- use current repair procedures for railcar maintenance
- support customer satisfaction by meeting expectations and requirements
- complete all necessary clerical tasks including invoicing, inspection and work order documentation
- maintain and update required certifications
- demonstrate strong knowledge of AAR rules and regulations
- perform other assigned work-related tasks
