Job Requirements
- Completion of a two-year radiologic technology program
- Valid Massachusetts radiology technologist license
- Good standing with ASRT and ARRT
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Ability to pass a drug test prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate
- Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
- In good standing with ASRT and ARRT
- Knowledge of software applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Preferred current CPR certification
- Preferred experience with EMR systems such as EPIC
- Preferred orthopedics experience
Job Duties
- Routinely provide radiographic diagnostic services by operating imaging and radiographic equipment
- Evaluate radiographs and imaging for technical quality and positioning
- Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues before calling for service
- Maintain sound radiation safety practices compliant with ALARA and Massachusetts state standards
- Manage inventory by monitoring, stocking, and rotating department supplies using LIFO method
- Initiate life support measures and demonstrate knowledge of Code Blue protocol and emergency systems
- Provide imaging support during pain procedures using the C-arm and other specialized equipment
