Job Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year radiologic technology program
  • Valid Massachusetts radiology technologist license
  • Good standing with ASRT and ARRT
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
  • Ability to pass a drug test prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate
  • Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
  • In good standing with ASRT and ARRT
  • Knowledge of software applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Preferred current CPR certification
  • Preferred experience with EMR systems such as EPIC
  • Preferred orthopedics experience

Job Duties

  • Routinely provide radiographic diagnostic services by operating imaging and radiographic equipment
  • Evaluate radiographs and imaging for technical quality and positioning
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues before calling for service
  • Maintain sound radiation safety practices compliant with ALARA and Massachusetts state standards
  • Manage inventory by monitoring, stocking, and rotating department supplies using LIFO method
  • Initiate life support measures and demonstrate knowledge of Code Blue protocol and emergency systems
  • Provide imaging support during pain procedures using the C-arm and other specialized equipment
