Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- three years of experience in radio systems maintenance and repair
- experience in client hardware support and database administration
- must obtain HAM radio General license within 24 months
- valid driver's license with appropriate endorsement
- satisfactory driving record

Job Duties
- Coordinates delivery of emergency communication and technology services
- develops and maintains policies and protocols for public safety radio system
- coordinates system changes and updates with external vendors
- maintains emergency communications equipment including controllers, towers, generators, and radios
- performs site inspections and monitors alarm systems
- provides radio system user support and troubleshooting
- coordinates radio system administration, programming, and upgrades
- manages yearly maintenance of radio system infrastructure
- makes budget recommendations and monitors expenditures
- coordinates with service technicians for technical support
- collaborates with Amateur Radio Emergency Services volunteers
- participates in emergency preparedness and disaster readiness training
- operates computers and communication equipment to complete essential functions
