Job Description
This position is for a seasonal Horse Valet role, available from December through March, designed to support the horse racing operations within an established racing facility. The hiring company is part of the horse racing and equestrian sports industry, providing essential services to ensure both the welfare of the horses and the smooth execution of races. With an emphasis on the proper handling and preparation of horses, the Horse Valet is a critical member of the racing team who supports trainers, jockeys, and other stable staff in managing all aspects of horse tack, equipment, and wardrobe requirements.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience handling horses or working in a stable
- Ability to work seasonally from December to March
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with horses or in a horse racing environment preferred
- Knowledge of horse tack and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good physical stamina
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Duties
- Assists trainers in saddling of horses prior to each race
- Monitors horse racing equipment
- Maintains and cleans tack and equipment
- Maintains the jockey's wardrobe and ensures proper uniform
- Provides labor support to higher level staff
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required
