Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years of restaurant experience with at least 1 year at a managerial or supervisory level
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • excellent Microsoft Office suite, leadership, problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • ability to lift and carry 40 plus lbs
  • ServSafe certification or ability to acquire
  • TIPS certification and California Food Handler's Card required within 14 days of employment

Job Duties

  • complete management reports related to revenue accounting, tip disbursements, scheduling, ordering, payroll, inventory, and daily manager logs
  • understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
  • ensure all guests receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service and fill in where needed
  • achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, facility appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness by training employees and fostering a positive work environment
  • prepare necessary paperwork including forms, reports, and schedules in a timely and organized manner
  • maintain all equipment cleanliness and working condition through inspection and preventive maintenance
  • oversee kitchen personnel and coordinate assignments to ensure economical and timely food production
  • execute menus alongside the Hospitality F&B Executive Chef and train team on recipe preparation
  • schedule staff accurately based on business forecasts and labor cost objectives
  • order and control inventory of kitchen products
  • conduct timely self-audits as required
